To learn more about electronic direct mailers, we were given the task to try our hand at making one ourselves. We are to look for a client and an offer to advertise via the electronic mailer. 

It was 2015 and it was Singapore's 50th anniversary. There were many promotions and offers from various companies. After doing some research, I settled for River Safari.

River Safari is part of Wildlife Reserves Singapore and they are promoting the sale of tickets as a bundle with other reserves they own.

Due to time and logistical constraints, I was not able to produce original assets to use. Though I would have loved to go out to the reserves and take some photos, I have to source online for a suitable image for this offer.

This was the image that I based my electronic mailer on. Though I would have liked to have some people in the image as well, it was the only choice that I feel like I could further develop.

I also had to do some photo manipulation to replace the logo with the SG50. I found a stock photo of a forest and used it to help erase the River Safari logo from the original.

I expanded the bottom of the original image to be my background and space for the copywriting I have created for this mailer. 

The button is coloured yellow as to not steal too much attention away from other parts of the mailer.
